Virtual Flying Club Netherlands Group Tour
Hello fellow aviators!
Every month, PAPA HOTEL Dutch Scenery Design organizes a members only group flight for our Patreons. In the next few months, we’re gonna up our game and organize a special tour: the Virtual Flying Club’s Netherlands Group Tour!
Unlike our normal group flights, this tour won’t just be available to our Virtual Flying Club members. We’re opening these flights up to all flight simulation enthusiasts for the duration of the tour.
The idea of this Netherlands Group Tour is one of discovery. The Netherlands is a beautiful country to fly in. We’re starting the tour at PAPA HOTEL’s home base: EHLE Lelystad Airport. During 9 legs, we’ll be visiting ALL of the general aviation airfields in the Netherlands. Either by a stop-over or just a simple touch ‘n go, whatever we feel like at the time.
We’ve got 9 legs planned to discover almost all of the beautiful spots this country has to offer.
Leg 1: EHLE, via EHTE, to EHTW
Leg 2: EHTW to EHBK
Leg 3: EHBK, via EHBD, to EHEH
Leg 4: EHEH, via EHSE, to EHMZ
Leg 5: EHMZ, via EHRD, to EHHV
Leg 6: EHHV, with a transition through the EHAM CTR via EHMM, to EHKD
Leg 7: EHKD, via EHTX, to EHAL
Leg 8: EHAL, via EHDR and EHOW, to EHGG
Leg 9: EHGG, via EHST and EHHO, to EHLE
The idea is to have a lot of fun! We’re organizing the tour not only for the veteran sim pilot, we’re encouraging absolute newbies to join us and learn from the experience of our dedicated community. Our Patreons can show off the amazing VFC liveries available only to our members. And don’t worry, it’s not just one big PAPA HOTEL advertisement. We’ll be offering advice for the best sceneries available to get the best flight sim experience during the tour!
We’d really love you to join us and fly together as a group. But if you’d prefer to fly at your own pace, that’s also fine. The group flights will be flown online with live ATC provided by IVAO. For those finding speaking to ATC a bit challenging, there’s absolutely no shame in that, we’ll be making the tour available as free downloadable .PLN files, as a SayIntentions.AI tour with all kinds of fun facts from your AI tour guide, and as a community created sightseeing tour for OnAir Airline Manager.
The planning is that we’ll be finishing the tour the week before FlightSImWeekend, so everyone will be at Lelystad in time for the biggest flight simulator convention in the world!
PAPA HOTEL Dutch Scenery Design will live stream all of the legs on our YouTube channel, so that if you can’t join us live in the air, you won’t have to miss a minute on air! And don’t worry, you’ll be back at EHLE Lelystad Airport just in time for FlightSimWeekend 2026!
